Japan Official Lead Price Increases to 210,000y/t

Mitsubishi Materials announced on Tuesday it raised the official lead ingot price by 5,000 yen to 210,000 yen per tonne for domestic shipment in February. The price is the highest level after 220,000 yen on March 15, 1990. The monthly averaged price became 209,000 yen in February.Lead settlement price at London Metal Exchange decreased by US$ 57 to US$ 1,363 per tonne on Monday from Friday. The telegraphic transfer selling (TTS) rate was 120.10 yen per one US dollar on Tuesday. The exchange rate of yen became weaker against US dollar.
