Nisshin Steel Raises Export Price of Stainless Cold Rolled Steel Sheet

Nisshin Steel increased $200 or so per tonne the export price of stainless cold rolled steel sheets for shipping in March-April due to recovering trends of the stainless steel markets in Asia as well as LME (London Metal Exchange) nickel price increase. Offshore mills such as POSCO and Taiyuan Steel also announced the price hikes. Further, Nisshin Steel shipped the hot rolled steel coils at 5,000 tonnes from its Shunan Works to Ningbo Baoxin Stainless Steel, the cold rolling joint venture between Baoshan Iron & Steel and Ningbo city, for the first time in about 8 months. So the Shunan Works is under the tight production condition.
