Osaka based electric wire and cable maker, Onamba Co. announced on Monday the firm and Mitsui & Co. increase the capital of O & M Solar in Czech Republic, which makes module panel for solar light electric conversion, to expand the output facilities. The Czech operation will start expanded operation with annual 30 megawatt capacity in July. The Olomouc based operation was established in March to produce amorphous solar electric conversion module panel as toll basis. The firm was built as a part of marketing strategy in Europe by Onamba’s major shareholder of Kaneka Corporation. The Czech operation assembles the module as tall base with Mitsui & Co. The Czech firm increases the capital by 39.8 million Czech Koruna to 40 million Czech Koruna in June. Onamba controls 85.1% of the joint venture after the capital increase with 8.94% share by Mitsui & Co. and 5.96% by Mitsui & Co. Europe.
