Japan Ferronickel Import Price Increases to 700,000 yen/t in Sep

Japanese ferronickel import unit value increased by 20.1% to around CIF 700,000 yen per tonne in September from August, which increased for the first time in 2 months and by 27.1% from a year ago, according to Ministry of Finance. The import price increased when nickel ingot price stayed at over US$ 30,000 per tonne and foreign exchange rate of yen decreased against US dollar.
