Suzukaku to Supply Buggy Steel Flame in Georgia

Shizuoka based steel distributor, Suzukaku Corporation established the first offshore base, Suzukaku USA with 500 million yen of capital in Georgia to provide flame processing of four wheel buggy for transplant of Yamaha Motor. The firm started the work in October to construct 1 billion yen plant starting the operation in July 2007. The firm considers expansion for the US plant including operation to produce steel packaging materials. The firm also studies to set packaging materials plant in South America to expand the global operations. Suzukaku decided to build US plant to meet Yamaha’s requirement at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America. Suzukaku’s wholly owned subsidiary in USA builds plant with 3,300 square meters of floor space and office with 660 square meters on 60,000 square meters of land. The plant with 30 of employees will process high tensile steel provided by Japanese and local steel makers. Suzukaku is a major steel distributor in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka dealing steel and processed steel products. The firm also processes steel parts for motorcycle along with steel packaging materials.
