The firm makes monthly 1,200-1,300 tonnes of galvanized pipe including products from galvanized steel coil and hot rolled coil forming and galvanizing products at Nagoya plant and Kawasaki plant in Kanagawa. The firm will increase the selling price for monthly 500-600 tonnes of hot coil based galvanizing products. Zinc ingot price increases more even after the surge in first half year to September. Nittetsu Steel Pipe decided additional hike to pass higher cost of zinc after the firm increased the price by 10,000 yen per tonne in late June. The firm left the price of products from galvanizing coil unchanged due to unchanged galvanizing coil price.
