Aluminium scrap market price maintains strong around Tokyo when primary aluminium ingot price stays high. Secondary aluminium alloy ingot makers are purchasing new cutting scrap at 277-282 yen per kilogram, printing plate scrap at 282-287 yen per kg and pressed can scrap at 180-185 yen per kg.Primary aluminium price keeps over US$ 2,700 per tonne of high level for both spot and future prices at London Metal Exchange, even though the backwardation became smaller in response to relatively easier spot supply. Telegraphic transfer selling rate continues weak at around 122 yen per US dollar. Primary aluminium ingot price keeps over 380 yen per kg in domestic market with the factors.Purchasing prices by secondary aluminium alloy ingot makers are increasing by about 5 yen per kg for high grade aluminium scrap and by about 3 yen for lower grade. The secondary aluminium makers seem to raise their selling prices to pass recent and previous upsurge of material prices.
