Nikko Industry Accepts Equipment from South Korean Steel Maker

Japanese engineering maker for steel making equipment, Nikko Industry, which in Kobe city and Eiji Arito president, accepted the order of one electric furnace which has the capacity at 80 tonnes and one ladle furnace from South Korean rebar maker, Daehan Steel Mill. The amount of the order receipt is about 1.5 billion yen. The firm will finish shipping the equipments by the end of 2007, to set up the equipments in the ended of January 2008. Nikko accepted the order of new type electric furnace which is AC electric furnace with 6.2 millimeters diameter, which has up-and-down hydraulic electrode system, aluminum conductor arm, which output from bottom. Raw steel output is 90 tonnes per charge. Ladle furnace’s output is 80 tonnes per charge. Moreover, the firm accepted designing of dust collector for building, the clean house for ladle furnace and sub material feeder into electric furnace and ladle furnace. The firm was established in 1966 as Nihon Kousan, which changed the name to Nikko Industry, and which develop and produce electric furnace and incidental equipment, implement consulting and maintenance. The firm had been increased the acceptance of order from users in such as Japan, South Korea, Philippine and Turkey. The firm made delivery electric furnace to SeAH Besteel and YK Steel in South Korea in 2004 and to Hyundai Steel in 2005. In 2006, the firm delivered 250 tonnes electric furnace, incidental equipment and dust collector to Colakoglu Metalurji in Turkey.
