Japan Ferrous Scrap Export Price Rising to South Korea

Japanese ferrous scrap export price is increasing bound for South Korea. POSCO of South Korea seemed to offer around C&F 38,500 yen per tonne for H2, around 45,200 yen for new cutting scrap, around 43,000 yen for HS and around 39,500 yen for mixed H1 and H2 toward Japanese dealers at a tender on Thursday. POSCO’s offer price exceeded Hyundai Steel’s offer price, which hit the recent highest in Japanese export to South Korea.
