Japanese rolled aluminium makers’ capacity utilization was 90.7% in January-June, which was 0.3% lower than same period of 2006, according to Japan Aluminium Association. The output was 1.17 million tonnes against 1.29 million tonnes of capacity. The utilization was more than 90% but slower due to slump for construction and information technology industry.
