Low Output and Shipment of Nonferrous Products in June

Japanese domestic production and shipment of nonferrous metals and related products were slow in June. Only 3 items represented year-to-year increase among 16 items of the statistics by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Both production and shipment decreased from a year earlier for copper rolled products and aluminium rolled products. Production also decreased for upper-stream products such as electrolytic copper and electrolytic lead.
