Japan Aluminium Association announced on Tuesday Japanese domestic demand for primary aluminium metal and the rolled products increased by 0.2% to 2.21 million tonnes in January-June 2007 compared with the corresponding period of 2006. The demand hit the record volume as a half year. The demand was strong for automobile related usages while maintained low for construction related fields.
