Japan, H-Beam Export Increases in August

Japanese H-beam export increased to 5,027 tonnes by 52.5% in August from a year ago, according to Ministry of Finance. The average export price increased to 77,687 yen per tonne by 15.4%. H-beam import decreased to 5,027 tonnes by 52.3% in August from a year ago. All import was from China.The export to South Korea increased to 14,093 tonnes by 12.6% in August over the same month of last year. The export was 7,876 tonnes to Singapore and 4,264 tonnes to Hong Kong.
