Japanese stainless flat steel inventory decreased to 135,444 tonnes in August, which was 1.4% lower than July and 4.5% lower than a year earlier, according to Japan Stainless Steel Association. The nickel series hot rolled coil inventory for export decreased by 59.0% from July and by 74.3% from a year earlier.
