Japan Ferrous Scrap Export Price Up at Kansai Tetsugen Tender

Japanese ferrous scrap export price was FAS 36,950 yen per tonne for H2 grade at export tender held by Kansai Tetsugen, which is association of scrap dealers around Osaka, on Tuesday. The price increased by 1,375 yen per tonne from the previous tender while decreased by 200 yen compared with the export tender price held by Kanto Tetsugen, which is association of scrap dealers around Tokyo on October 11.Econecol, Japanese scrap dealer, got the 5,000 tonnes of contact to ship from October 22 to November 30. 15 exporters submitted 15 bids for the tender while 2 eligible exporters rejected to submit. The averaged bid for 15 bids was FAS 35,991 yen per tonne for H2 from average at previous tender.Kansai Tetsugen scheduled the export tender at 10,000 tonnes to ship from September 10 to October 12, and demolished they tender. Kansai Tetsugen is seen to reduce to 5,000 tonnes of contract volume in view of the supply and demand around Osaka after October when is in demand season.
