Japan Steel Export Rises by 10.5% in October

Japanese steel export increased by 10.5% to 3.1 million tonnes in October from a year earlier, announced by Ministry of Finance. The export value increased by 13.0% to 342.583 billion yen. The import decreased by 6.7% to 698,696 tonnes and increased by 12.2% to 80.727 billion yen.The export decreased by 4.8% to USA in September from a year earlier while increased by 27.3% to EU and by 13% to Asia. The export decreased by 6.2% to China while increased by 37.3% to Middle East and by 3 times to Russia.The export value increased by 12.4% to USA, by 25.9% to EU, and by 14.5% to Asia. The export value increased by 3.5% to China, by 41.4% to Middle East and by4 times to Russia.The import volume decreased by 7.65 from USA, by 18.3% from EU and by 15.4% from Asia. The import value largely decreased by 46.1% from China, by 92.3% from Middle East and by 25.6% from Russia.
