Japan Copper Export Increases in October

Japanese export of electrolytic copper (cathode copper) increased by 43% to 33,217 tonnes in October from a year earlier, according to the trade statistics by Ministry of Finance. The export increased by 55% for China in October from a year ago, the largest importer of Japanese electrolytic copper, while increased by 4.4 times for South Korea. The copper scrap export represented year-to-year increase by 16.9% in October, whose demand maintained strong from China.
