Ferrous scrap market price is flat at 34,100 yen per tonne for pressed new cutting scrap and at 33,100 yen for new cutting scrap without freight around Tokyo. The price is likely to keep the level with no major factor. Hyundai Steel of South Korea kept the offer for Japanese scrap for 2 weeks in a row. The offer was FOB 40,000 yen per tonne for new cutting scrap at the weekly tender on Wednesday. Offshore steel makers try to find Japanese market condition after the price hit the bottom. Ferrous scrap market price is flat at around 29,500 yen per tonne for H2 grade around Osaka.
