Neturen Expands High Quality Wire Production in USA

Neturen, Japanese major high quality wire maker, announced on Thursday the firm introduces 2 heat treating and one drawing equipments in Neturen America Corporation (NAC) which produces high strength cold rolled steel wire (ITW) for spring used automobile, and expands the production capacity to 6,600 tonnes per year. NAC stars the operation in April 2008. NAC’s capital found is US$ 12 million and 55% of Neturen USA, 35% of Metal One, Japanese major business house, 10% of Nippon Steel. NAC introduces the equipment which is the same for Japanese factory of Neturen, and uses mainly Nippon Steel’s high quality wire rod, and introduces Japanese production way and Japanese quality assurance system. The firm will start the operation with 2 production lines and can expand total 8 lines with the demand in the future.ITW is high strength steel wire for spring of suspension and is made by Induction heat technology. Neturen expects the demand for ITW would increase due to the expansion of the output by Japanese car makers in USA.Neturen said the firm builds up global supply system by Japanese, Chinese and American production bases.
