Godo Steel to Reduce Raw Steel Output by 9.7% in January-March

Godo Steel plans to reduce the raw steel output by 9.7% or 36,587 tonnes to 337,175 tonnes in January-March from October-December. The firm reduces the output by 31,920 tonnes or 10.7% to 264,735 tonnes for carbon steel and by 4,667 tonnes or 6% to 72,440 tonnes for special steel. The firm tries to meet the slow domestic demand. The firm plans to reduce the rolled products output by 11.1% or 41,700 tonnes to 331,500 tonnes in January-March from October-December. The firm reduces the output by 31,920 tonnes to 279,200 tonnes for carbon steel and by 4,667 tonnes to 52,300 tonnes for special steel. The firm reduces the output of H-beam and concrete reinforcing steel bar under very slow building activity. The firm expects the semi-finished steel sales will increase by 12.5% or 6,605 tonnes to 59,100 tonnes manly for export in January-March from October-December.
