Nippon Tokushukan Develops Ultra Fine Copper Electrode Pipe

Osaka based special grade pipe maker, Nippon Tokushukan MFG. succeeded to make copper electrode pipe with 0.07 millimeters of outer diameter for electric spark machining. The firm shipped the first cargo. The firm develops high precision titanium electrode pipe with 0.4 mm diameter for electrochemical machining. The firm tries to expand the ultra fine pipe sales with the technology advantage. The firm developed copper electrode pipe with 0.08 mm diameter 10 years ago. The firm tries to meet demand for finer pipe through the development. The firm also developed the product with 0.5-1.0 mm shank for easier setting to electric spark machining. The firm expands the variation with existing lineup including brass electrode pipe and tungsten alloy wire with 0.05 mm diameter. The firm succeeded to make titanium electrode pipe with 0.4 mm diameter and within 0.003 mm of diameter differential. The firm already ships the products for air cooling hole of airplane turbine blade. The firm also provides precision titanium pipe with 0.15 mm of outer diameter and 0.08 mm of inner diameter.
