JFE Steel Raises H-Beam Price by 6,000 Y/t

JFE Steel, Japanese major integrated steel maker, announced the firm raises H-beam selling price by 6,000 yen per tonne for dealers effective for April orders. The firm will have raised the price for 3 consecutive months by total 30,000 yen per tonne. The firm will continue output reduction by 50% for dealers when the firm’s West Japan iron works is under repair works.JFE Steel increased H-beam selling price by 10,000 yen per tonne in February and by 14,000 yen in March when production costs soared up by higher material prices and freights. The firm will have raised the price by total 30,000 yen per tonne since February. Nippon Steel, Japanese major integrated steel maker, has increased its H-beam price by total 30,000 yen, too.
