Japanese ferrous scrap export increased for 4 months in a row through April, according to report by Japan Ferrous Raw Materials Association. The export increased by 17.9% to 669,000 tonnes in April from March. The export to South Korea increased by 36.8% to 338,000 tonnes and the export to China increased by 7.1% to 298,000 tonnes while the export to Taiwan decreased by 69.2% to 8,000 tonnes. The export increased for the first time for South Korea. The export increased for 3 months in a row for China while the export to Taiwan decreased for 2 months in a row.
