Kansai Tetsugen Resumes Ferrous Scrap Export Tender

Kansai Tetsugen, an association of scrap dealers around Osaka, resumes the export tender. The association canceled the previous export tender when ferrous scrap generation was decreasing in the region and the scrap flowed out from Osaka to other areas. The association closes the list of tender on next Friday for 5,000-10,000 tonnes export shipped during June 16-July 15.At the tender, the association amends the export price for some grades other than H2 to fill the gap between Japanese export price and the overseas market prices. Compared with H2, H1 price will be higher by 1,500 yen per tonne, H3 lower by 1,500 yen and L1 lower by 3,000 yen.
