Sheet steel market price is weak tone around Tokyo. The sheet steel market price is 102,000-105,000 yen per tonne for hot rolled flat steel, 104,000-107,000 yen for pickling steel, 112,000-115,000 yen for cold-rolled steel sheet around Tokyo.
Dealers’ shipping keeps slow around Tokyo. The demand remains low situation for building construction, is becoming weak for automobile or machinery. Coil center source said coil center’s shipping was low in August-September and the demand doesn’t recover in October. Coil centers and dealers are maintaining the selling price. However, they are concerning the maintenance of the price when users are strongly requesting price sown to coil centers or dealers due to decreased ferrous scrap price.
