Japan Ferroalloy Import Price Drops in October

Japanese ferroalloy import unit price decreased in October from September for many items including high carbon ferromanganese, unit price of which decreased by 4.7%, according to Ministry of Finance. The averaged unit price decreased by 17.7% for ferroalloys, which was the first drop in 6 months.

The import unit price decreased for high carbon ferromanganese in October from September, which decreased for 2 months in a row. The price of silicomanganese decreased for the first time in 2 months. The price decreased for ferrosilicon and ferrochrome, which was the first drop in 2 months and 4 months respectively.
