Ferrous Scrap Dealer Group in Osaka Holds Additional Export Tender in December

Kansai Tetsugen Union, ferrous scrap dealers’ group based Osaka decided the holding of the ferrous scrap export tender in December 22. The group contracted at total 10,000 tonnes on the export tender in December 4, which holds the tender in 2 times for a month for the first time.

Electric furnace makers around Osaka are expected to expand the output cut from January. Consequently, the demand for ferrous scrap is seemed to drop. The group aims to improve the supply and demand for ferrous scrap by conjoint export. The export which was contracted in December 4 stays at 4,000 tonnes, but the group sets the tender volume at 5,000-10,000 tonnes in December 22. The group schedules the export shipping for January 19-February 18.
