Japanese imported flat steel inventory at quay in Tokyo and Osaka decreased by 0.4% or 1,000 tonnes to 241,000 tonnes at end of November from October, announced by Hanwa Co. on Friday. The import volume to both quays decreased by 0.4% or 1,000 tonnes to 241,000 tonnes at end of November from October, too. Warehouse shipping kept low level at both quays due to slower demand.
The inventory in Osaka decreased by 11.1% or 14,000 tonnes to 112,000 tonnes at end November from October. The stock increased by 9% or 1,000 tonnes to 12,000 tonnes for plate and by 21% or 8,000 tonnes to 38,000 tonnes for the hot rolled coil while the stock decreased by 27.0% or 23,000 tonnes to 62,000 tonnes for cold rolled coil. The stock in Tokyo increased to 129,000 tonnes by 11.2% or 13,000 tonnes at the ended of November from October. The stock increased by 9% or 1,000 tonnes to 12,000 tonnes for plate, by 9.5% or 7,000 tonnes to 80,000 tonnes for hot coil and by 15.6% or 5,000 tonnes to 37,000 tonnes for cold coil.Japan Steel Scrap Composite Prices (Sangyo Press)
