Japan H-Beam Import Drops by 35.7% in May

Japanese H-beam import decreased by 35.7% to 3,676 tonnes from China in May from a year earlier, according to Ministry of Finance. The buyers reduced the import from China due to slower civil work activity and higher import value. The export decreased by 22.9% to 23,493 tonnes, of which export to South Korea decreased by more than 40%.
