Sumitomo Metal Mining Reviews Contingency Planning of Manufacturing Bases
Sumitomo Metal Mining, Japanese major non-ferrous smelter, reviews contingency planning of each manufacturing bases. The firm wasn’t visited largely by the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 11, but the firm judged to need to review contingency planning if mega earthquake or seismic sea wave occur in West Japan. The firm will go over the planning until ended September and will carry out the measure step by step.
