Novo Orlovsk Gok to Expand Concentration Capacity of Tungsten Ores
Novo Orlovsk Gok, the Russian mine, hastens preparation to restart mining tungsten ores stopped from 1990 due to the Soviet Union's breakup. Tungsten concentrate is produced from residue at present. The fineness of residue is 0.1% while that of ore is 0.22-0.3%. The productivity of tungsten concentrate would be improved if they shift the raw material from residute to ores. The firm plans to restart operation of some lines at the second concentration plant in the Gok.
