Japan Smelters Have Tough Price Talks with Copper Miners
Japanese copper smelters have tough talks with offshore copper miner for the mid-year price negotiation of concentrate. The settlement is likely to overlap into August though Japanese expected they would conclude the talks early July at record treatment charge and refining charge under oversupply of ore.
