Mitsui Mining and Smelting to Expand Asian Copper Foil Output by 10%
Mitsui Mining and Smelting will expand commodity grade electrolytic copper foil output by more than 10% in Asian production sites including Taiwan from current monthly 2,700 tonnes. The firm establishes 3,000 tonnes of capacity in the autumn to meet rapid growing demand in Asia where is world largest production base of printed circuit board though the firm has some room to increase output now. The firm tries to expand the output without new facility by improving efficiency and yield.
