Russia Increases Presence as Tungsten Source
Tungsten is used as additives for steel and cemented carbide tool. Russia is no.2 supplier of the rare metal after China with 85% share of the world supply. Tokyo based rare metal trading firm, Advanced Material Japan Corporation developed relationship with Primorsk tungsten mine of Far East Russia since it provided mining machineries for the mine in 2000 and purchases annual 1,500 tonnes of tungsten concentrate stably.
