Mitsui Mining and Smelting to Expand TAB by 25%
Mitsui Mining and Smelting will expand the output capacity of tape automated bonding, which is packaging material for crystal liquid driving integrated circuit, to 150 million units per month by March 2006 at the wholly owned subsidiary MCS in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi from current 120 million units. The firm tries to increase the output by introducing new line and better productivity.
