Russian Orlovsk Mine Expands Tungsten Concentrate Output to 6 times
Russian Far East tungsten mine, Novo Orlovsk Gok increases the tungsten concentrate output to 6 times at annual 1,800 tonnes in August from current just more than 300 tonnes. The price of concentrate of tungsten, which is used as additives of superhard tool and steel, increased to more than double from the beginning of the year when the supply is very tight due to growing demand in the world leading supplier of China. The firm will resume operations for some idled facilities.
