Mitsubishi Materials to Open Hard Tool Sales Office in Poland
Mitsubishi Materials' fabricated metal products unit announced on Monday it established a subsidiary to sell cemented carbide tool in Wroclaw of Poland and started the operation on Friday. The firm serves for transplants of Japanese automakers and auto-parts makers in central and Eastern Europe when the major users shift the production to the area. The firm targets 500 million yen of sales in fiscal 2006 starting April 2006. With the new office, Mitsubishi Materials has 7 sales bases in Europe including plant in Spain for the products.
