ALBRAS to Produce Record 440,000 tonnes in 2005
Japanese and Brazilian joint national aluminium smelting project, Aluminio Brasileiro or ALBRAS will produce 440,000 tonnes of aluminium in 2005 exceeding record in 2004. The firm will expand the capacity to annual 480,000 tonnes by increasing electric current for US$ 70 million.
