Daido Steel to Develop New Titanium Alloy of Vanadiumless
Daido Steel developed the new titanium alloy that does not contain the vanadium. The firm began the sample supply of it as an alternative material of a typical titanium alloy (6-4 titanium alloy) that added the vanadium by 4%, and aluminium by 6%. The firm sells it for the golf club or the auto parts. The firm has the policy of preventing the sales decrease of titanium according to the sudden rise of the material price by increasing sales to the field that the price fluctuation is small like the medical treatment material etc.
