Sumitomo Titanium to Extend Production Capacity of Titanium Sponge
Sumitomo Titanium Corporation has plan to increase the amount of the titanium sponge supply for the aircraft demand to double by fiscal 2007. The firm is advancing to build up the equipment to increase production by 6,000 tonnes per year. The firm allots about 3,000 tons of the half for the production increase for export including for the aircraft.
