Japan Aluminium Demand Increases by 5.4% in 2004
Japanese aluminium demand increased by 5.4% to record 4.333 million tonnes in 2004 from 2003, announced by Japan Aluminium Association on Friday. The demand increased for 3 consecutive years under firm domestic demand.
The demand increased by 6.6% for transportation in the year from 2003. The demand also increased for construction, metal products and food.
