Secondary Aluminium Alloy Products' Output and Shipment Recovers to 1-Million-Tonne-Mark in 13 Years
Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association announced on January 31 2005 the actual results of the 2004's secondary aluminium alloy production and shipment. According to the announcement, since the demand for cars including the automobile parts for export was good, the production was 1,014,744 tonnes, up 2.9% from the previous year; the shipment was 1,018,391 tonnes, up 3% from the same period; both recovered to 1-million-tonne-mark in 13 years increasing for 3 consecutive years.
