SHINSHO NON-FERROUS METALS to withdraw from the copper enlogation slitter business
SHINSHO NON-FERROUS METALS decided to withdraw from the copper enlogation slitter business. The firm will stop the production of copper enlogation slitter products in the end of November of this year. The firm has judged that it is so difficult to continue its business.
SHINSHO NON-FERROUS METALS had tried to increase the demand of aluminium rolling product, copper enlogation goods under close relationship with Kobe Steel. And the firm started to produce and sell the copper enlogation slitter from 1992, and strengthened quick delivery of copper enlogation strip and petty sales in order to respond to diverse demand in the market. But since many users started to demand them to oversea and Japanese market tended to decrease, the business environment in the firm got worse and the firm decided to withdraw from the copper enlogation slitter business.
Kanto mill that had produced the copper enlogation slitter will be strengthened as an aluminium stock center. And the mill has process aluminum plate. SHINSHO NON-FERROUS METALS plans to focus on aluminium business from now on.
