Demand for aluminum rolling product is active. High-level shipments of material of can are also expected in this season, because demand of beer and soft drink is increasing rapidly due to heat wave. Therefore, Japanese aluminum reroll makers continue to running at full capacity.
As for aluminum rolling product output, plates produced a record turnout of May. Printing plate for mainly bicycle is also active. As for plate for LNG carrier and semiconductor, liquid crystal device, supply and demand is tight.
On the other hand, unbroken extreme heat increases demand of material of can. Though shipments for material of can in July-April increased by 3% from the previous period to 145,288 tonnes, and it is likely to rise furthermore.
