YAMAZAKI KINZOKU SANGYO Founds New Firm in Thailand
YAMAZAKI KINZOKU SANGYO will found 'YAMAKIN (THAILAND) CO., LTD.,' which the firm will invest, money by 100%, to reinforce its overseas enterprises. The capital will be 100 million baht (about 300 billion yen). The firm's business development in the country will be following the foundation of YAMAZAKI KINZOKU (THAILAND) CO., LTD. The firm is introducing a facility for slitter of copper alloy products, and performing sales promotion in Southeast Asia.
The firm will found its new firm in the duty-free area. There is room for its businesses there. The firm will introduce equipment within this year. As soon as facilities are introduced there, the firm will let them work. According to the firm, its capacity of equipment is superior to that in Shanghai, China, where there is slitter processing.
Mr. Yamazaki, president of the firm, said that the Thai markets are attractive.
