Mitsui to Acquire Nickel Unit from Tomen
Mitsui & Co. announced on Thursday it would acquire nickel unit from
Tomen Corporation effective on Friday. Trading firms agreed for the
deal when Mitsui is trying to expand nickel related trade while Tomen
selects and concentrates its business.
The business includes Japanese export, import and domestic trade for
nickel metal with 6 billion yen of annual sales.
The unit belongs to new metal and products division of Non-Ferrous
Metals Unit of Mitsui.
