Nippon Steel to Invest 150 Billion yen R&D in 3-Year
Nippon Steel plans to invest around 150 billion yen for research and development in 3-years through fiscal 2011 ending March 2012, which is 10% higher than record investment in fiscal 2006-2008. The firm improves the ability to develop new products and new process for advanced technology in the world. The firm secures strategic investment resource including capital expenditure and investment for long term growth despite of severe condition under higher raw materials cost and slow domestic demand.
