Japan High Carbon FeMn Makers Seek 100,000 yen/t Hike for Jul.-Sep.
Japanese major ferroalloy makers seek 90,000-100,000 yen per tonne of hike for high carbon ferromanganese for July-September shipment from April-June. They already started negotiation with the buyers to reflect higher international price. The price level is expected to become 370,000-390,000 yen per tonne depending on the condition. The manganese ferroalloy price is likely to keep high when the international price is supported by firm demand and higher cost for ore and electricity.
