Mazda Uses hot dip Galvanized Steel Sheet for the Steel Sheet for Prevention of Rust
Mazda Motor Corporation will shift to hot dip galvanized steel sheet from electrogalvanized steel sheet for the steel sheet for prevention of rust being used for outside sheet for car. The firm already let blast furnace steel makers notice the shift, and it will use hot-dip galvanized steel sheet for some of its parts in the end of this year. Mazda will be shifting to hot-dip galvanized product step by step toward its full model changes. The firm's first vehicle family would be produced next fiscal year. The amount of integrated purchasing of steel sheets by Mazda is 60,000-70,000 tonnes per month including coated steel sheet at 40%. The firm is currently adopting coated steel sheet made by Nippon Steel. Mazda's shifting to hot-dip galvanized product was dealt with hardship to procure electrogalvanized steel sheet products in the future while spreading hot dip galvanized steel sheet for car to the world. Furthermore, some point out there is lower cost as merit of hot dip product. All the domestic off-line makers will be shifting to hot dip products.
