Japan Ferrous Scrap Export Price Rebounds by 5.9%
Japanese ferrous scrap export price increased by 5.9% or 1,093 yen to FAS 19,593 yen per tonne for H2 for August shipment from July at export tender held by Kanto Tetsugen on Thursday. The price rebounded after decreases since May shipment. Traders won 15,000 tonnes of export contracts at the tender. The price recovered when buyers of Taiwan and South Korea reentered in the market after it kept decreasing with demand slump since April.
